Not a lot of home-cooking on the Rabbit-blog. But now, for a notable exception. To celebrate the Rabbitz birthday(ze), the rabbbit-sister baked cakes. Cupcakes. Tiny, perfect, personal cakes. And they were… well, perfect. Voila… Chocolate, peanut butter frosting. Personal cake. Perfect. Happy birthday, Rabbit!!

Eight is the new restaurant and wine bar at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It replaced Doku 15, an icily beautiful space with an Asian inspired menu that was empty whenever I visited. Granted I visited only rarely, mostly because I didn’t like the room which had too much concrete and felt like a zen bunker.
